four black walls
surround me,
cramped concrete
sucking the air
out of my chest –
thoughts constantly
reverberating off
my skull –
stupiduglyfatbitch
stupiduglyfatbitch
stupiduglyfatbitch
stupidfatstupidfat
stupidfatstupidfat
FAT FAT FAT
each syllable
banging together
like a mallet
to a gong –
no windows
no sun
no moon
no night
no day –
only the endless
repetitive march
as the seconds
tick away –
I’ve forgotten
the feeling
of human touch,
but have memorized
the staccato smacks
of sadness
that interject between
the numb loneliness –
no blanket
no bed
just the cold
concrete floor –
there is no warmth
there is no light
only darkness
forevermore.
